traffic and sales. We invite you to read on and learn why Medlaff is proving to be a
hot spot on the internet.

You may not know the name Carl Shrader, but if you have spent any time around
medical professionals, you have probably enjoyed his work. Carl\'s T-shirts, mugs and
more are found in medical uniform and hospital gift shops across America.

Medical professionals nationwide have been laughing with Carl for years. His
cartoons depicting real life work events, have been a hit with Nurse\'s and other
medical staff since he began drawing them over ten years ago.

Carl once believed that he couldn\'t draw an identifiable stick figure. He soon found
that his constant doodling, during slow times while working, led to creating
humorous characters. This new talent made him aware that he not only enjoyed the
process of drawing characters, but he also had a knack for telling a story with them
that people easily related to.

His first piece was created in an effort to cheer a co-worker. The art that followed
that first kind gesture, became more professional as he drew. His growing fan base
enjoyed his prolific drawings. They were able to laugh at events that were
stressful. His art put it all into perspective for them. Carl \"got it\" and people
are drawn to that understanding daily.

Carl created a complete cast of characters based on his co-workers. The cartoons
were passed throughout departments in the Chattanooga Tennessee hospital he was
employed with at the time. Staff members posted his work on bulletin boards in
lounges and Nurses stations throughout the hospital. They faxed them to other area
hospitals to share. The stress release of being able to laugh at their situations
let them know that they were not alone.

Customers began asking Carl to create his cartoons on t-shirts and other items. A
business had formed in spite of himself. The demand was great enough to require
purchasing printing equipment and various substrates such as totebags, mousepads and
mugs to add to his already popular shirts.

Local uniform shop sales led to international marketing and sales. Popular booths at
medical conferences solidified that Carl had something people wanted and needed.
Carl was asked to create a single pane cartoon for The Chicken Soup publishing
company. This entry appears in their popular book, Chicken Soup For The Nurses Soul.
Later that year, Carl was pleased to be asked to produce advertising images for the
World\'s Longest Yard Sale event that is held annually in the southern states.

This accidental business was growing too large, too fast, Carl made the wise
decision to step back and regroup. After much restructuring and the major purchase
of top of the line printing machines, Carl is ready for his return. New designs are
created daily and offered within a day to customers. Order fulfillment is fast with
two stations of production working full time.

Medlaff.org offers more than items for sale. You are free to browse through Carl
Shrader\'s designs just for the laugh. Full sized images make this possible. A free
weekly cartoon to print and pass among your department is also available. Watermark

Carl and his staff are poised to increase the exposure of Medlaff.org nation wide
